The 6-hole ocarina is identical in size and pitch to the 4-hole ocarina – it just has two added thumb-holes. These extra holes give four accurately-tuned extra notes. For all of the tunes in Play your Ocarina Book 1, keep the thumb-holes closed and play as if you have a 4-hole ocarina. Play your Ocarina Book 2 introduces all the technique needed for playing a 6-hole Oc®. In Book 2 all of the tunes can be played on the 4-hole or 6-hole Oc®, with the exception of one in which the 4-hole Oc-player can whistle the top note!

The four CDs which are an optional add-on contain nearly 4 hours of recorded music to accompany your playing.
