Made in the UK for Ocarina Workshop from impact-resistant plastic, this D Alto Ocarina plays notes from D to D' and measures 77mm (3 inches). It is also available in blue, yellow, red, purple and yellow rainbow colours.
Supplied with a 'How to Play' card showing the ocarina fingering and a first tune.

The Ocarina is an ancient instrument. Round flutes have been made on all continents for thousands of years. This ocarina is an English ocarina. It has a new, unique fingering-system discovered by British ethnomusicologist John Taylor in the early 1960's. We love the simplicity of the 4-hole ocarina and the possibility of playing 14 accurately tuned notes with just four finger-holes. That's why we've made it in plastic – for school use and at an accessible price.

From the early 1980's Ocarina Workshop® has taught children and teachers to play and teach the ocarina. This two-pronged approach has multiplied the benefits of the English ocarina throughout the UK and across all continents of the world.
